Running SYS_BIOS binaries on slave cores using GLSDK linux image

Hello Everybody,

I am working with the Vayu Vision EVM. I have followed the steps given in the GLSDK User guide and created a boot image for the EVM. The board boots up correctly and I am able to run few examples as well, as given in the user guide.

My question is how can i run a SYS_BIOS binary on any slave core? That is, if i want to run a VLIB example on one of the C66x DSP while the HOST is running linux, how do i do that?

Hello Saurabh,

Yes, it is possible. You must use XDCtool, it is part of GLSDK.

XDCtools is a set of tools that enable the creation and use of RTSC packages. RTSC (pronounced rit-see) stands for Real-Time Software Components. It allows products to be developed as reusable packages, and is described in the RTSC-pedia.XDCtools and RTSC define the configuration language used by SYS/BIOS (and other products that make use of RTSC). For SYS/BIOS 6.x versions, the configuration scripts are stored in .cfg and other files.
