I am considering using the TS3A4741 analog switch to isolated a rail from being back-powered by another supply through an I/O. What I want to do is make VCC the 3.3V rail that could be shut down. I am hoping that the Ino(OFF) leakage currents apply also when VCC is 0V. I also have the IN pin tied to this VCC level. Can anyone confirm this? I am worried about parasitic diodes in the device allowing the COM terminal to leak through to the NO terminal when VCC=0V.
If not, is there an analog switch that is controlled by the VCC instead of a separate IN pin that can guarantee this condition? Perhaps a digital isolator?
