Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV2625
Most of the EMR motors I see are 3V and under but the I2C boards like Adafruit/Sparkfun run on 5V. Is this intentional, or is this a mismatch?

Ok good. Can you give me some suggestions on motors though - I am seeing several voltages and drastically different RPM specs. I would think that the chip profiles are dependent on a specific RPM(?). I ordered best guesses off Amazon. I want to mount this on the detector shaft first so not sure the half inch motors are sufficient.
Barry,
The selection of your ERM should be based on how much weight you are trying to move and your size constraint. The DRV2605/DRV2625 families can drive up to ~1.2A at 5.5V. We have many ERM/LRA vendors listed on our actuator page.
