DRV2605: LRA Frequency Range

Hi,

I would like to ask you a following question.

Q) LRA Frequency Range

I have an old datasheet of DRV2605 "SLOS825A" and there describes LRA frequency range (fLRA) is from 50Hz to 300Hz as below (page3).

On the other hand, about the latest datasheet "SLOS825D", the specification is from 125 to 300Hz.

Why did this change (50Hz ---> 125Hz) happen?

It has not already been possible to use 50Hz LRA for DRV2605??

If yes, do you have another solution to drive the LRA whose frequency is under 125Hz?

Hi Takumi,

Yes, the new version of the DRV2605 datasheet has the change listed in Revision History.
We have fixed this issue with the DRV2624/DRV2625, our newest LRA/ERM drivers. Please use these devices under 125Hz.

Hi Takumi-san,

We do not have a current plan for a Q1 version of the DRV2624/5.
