DRV2605L: Water repellent solution

We are looking for water repellent solution by vibration.

Do you think a haptics driver can be used for water repellent solution?

Or do you have similar solution?

    Thank you for posting to the E2E forum. I will need a little more detail about your application. From what material surface are you trying to repel water? Are you only repelling water or also dirt and other liquids? Do you know the targeted frequency needed to repel water?
    I think the key things to figure out are the frequency and the acceleration needed to repel water from your surface. Then you would want to find the correct actuator for the application. You may be able to use a LRA, but you might need a piezo actuator for higher frequency vibration.

    Thank you for your reply.

    While it is difficult to talk about a detailed application here, the target is a fan or a body of product ( made from metal, plastic and so on).
    Anyway, the purpose is to avoid water dew condensation.

    A mechanism to blow away water dew with ultrasonic waves seems to be close to our consideration.
    However, we are looking for water repelling solution in TI solution.

    We don't currently have information regarding a solution like this. I think the solution would use piezo technology for ultrasonic vibrations. Do you have a specific actuator in mind that can handle ultrasonic frequencies?
    I believe that a solution could be realized, but there are a few factors to find out the electrical requirements.
