DRV2667EVM-CT: How to use 3-axis accelerometer

Part Number: DRV2667EVM-CT

Dear all,

I found that this EVM has 3-axis accelerometer, but I don't know how to use this sensor.

So I would like to know how to use this. And, for what application did you design with this sensor?

Best regards,

  • Hey Takao,

This accelerometer is probably used to measure vibration effect, to measure acceleration in different directions so that you can compare the strength of the vibration with other actuators. Unfortunately, I could not find any data on this one in the user guide so I will not be able to help you with that. A colleague of mine that will know something more about this will be back tomorrow and then I will clarify this with him and get back to you.

    Best regards,
    Marko
  • Hi Marko-san,

    Thank you for your support.
I am looking forward hearing from you.

  • Hi Takao-san,

We do have an accelerometer on this EVM. We planned to implement a few games using this accelerometer, but the games were never implemented. You can look up the accelerometer part number if you want to make custom firmware to interact with the device. The 2 interrupt signals are sent to the MSP430 pins P1.4 and P1.5.
