DRV2625: DRV2625 USE QUESTIONS

Part Number: DRV2625

Dear ,

I met some problems when i use DRV2625  to develop  my products. There is  some confusion about it's use.questions are as follows:

1 how to use it's calibration?

2 how to choose the waveform that we want from the internal library?try one by one ???

3 Output voltage amplitude adjustment calculated according to specifications doesn't agree with the test result, why???

I am looking forward to your reply ,and many thanks!!! pls show me the detailed user guide!!!

  • Hello,

This information is described in the datasheet (section 9.3) and user guide of the EVM, which are both available online. Are you using the DRV2625EVM-CT? If so, please use haptic control console to control the device.

    1. Set the rated voltage and OD Clamp values. Change the mode to auto-calibration and use the trigger (internal or external) to start the process. Registers 0x21-0x23 will be updated with the calibration results.
    2. Change the mode to waveform sequencer, load the waveform number into the first sequence, and trigger the waveform.
    3. Adjust rated voltage and OD Clamp using registers 0x1F and 0x20, respectively. The rated voltage is an RMS voltage and the OD Clamp is a peak voltage. In order to observe the rated voltage, then class-D output needs to be properly filtered.
  • Hi Kelly,

many thanks for  your reply!!! I don't use the  DRV2625EVM-CT, and will apply for one to debug next!!

thanks again ,and hope we can have more communication !!!

    best regards!!!
