DRV2605L: DRV2605 Drive confusion.

Part Number: DRV2605L

1) DRV working as haptic feedback driver for input from nrf52

2) DRV working with Audio signal from vs1011e for the use of audio-to-vibe (should be also controllable with either a switch or other solution)

I have confusion regarding connection of DRV2605L with VS1011. also can i use IN/TRIG pin of DRV with VS1011 GBUF pin for drive DRV2605L???

Hi AB,

As your intention is to use DRV2605L in audio-to-vibe, you should connect either Left or Right audio output from VS1011 to IN/TRIG input pin of DRV2605L.
Using a 0.1uF capacitor to AC couple the audio source is recommended. Also note that IN/TRIG full-scale range is 1.8Vpp.
From VS1011 info I see that GBUF is a common voltage for the audio outputs (it's a DC voltage) why would you want to drive DRV2605L with this voltage?

Thanks for Replay,

Is that possible to when i connect IN/TRIG pin with amplifier left or right connection for audio to vib.
But also some time wanted only vib so but no need to audio to vib and disconnect that function so how is that possible ???

AB,

You can change the mode in which the DRV2605L is working. If you only need continuous vibration then RTP mode could be useful.
