DRV8662EVM: exchange at Mouser

I'm not sure how we can assist here? Do you want the different EVM because of the EVM features? Both devices can drive the same power levels.

Isn't the DRV8662EVM limited to lower frequencies? The DRV2700 looks like it's more intended for piezo alarms. I needed something close to 8khz for an alarm application. Thank You

No, they can both drive the same frequency. The DRV8662 datasheet is geared towards haptics where as the DRV2700 is marketed towards piezo horns and more industial designs, but they are quite similar devices.. 8kHz is a little high for this device depending on the load capacitance and the output voltage.
I will say the DRV2700EVM with Piezo Control Console may be a little easier to use.

I think so too. The DRV2700EVM is what I want. Mouser wanted me to verify with you that the device functions before I send it back. Are there some checks I can do on the device to verify it's functionality? The LED blinks, but I do not have the recommended piezo actuators in the selection guide.

You can cycle through the default modes of operation and measure the outputs on an oscilloscope. The LED blinking is a good first sign of the device working correctly.

Sounds like it is working to me. Showing a screen shot of the output at 200Vpp should be proof that it is working correctly. Not sure what Mouser is looking for..
