DRV2605L: RTP mode

Hello,

I use a DRV2605L to drive a ERM and I use the real time playback function.

but, when i input amplitude data to RTP_INPUT[7:0], the value of control register will change to 0xff or other and the ERM doesn't vibrate as the given amplitude.

Hi，

I have just started using the DRV2605L with ERM vibration motors and I have a question.

1) when i write amplitude data(0x30) to RTP_INPUT[7:0] and then read data from RTP_INPUT[7:0] ,the data isn't 0x30.

I wonder if there have some problems.

Hi Chen,

This sounds like a software problem with your Arduino board. I am not sure how we can help here.. You can probe the I2C pins on an oscilloscope and see if the transactions are correct.
Make sure the board is not in software standby mode, which is the default mode.

when i unplug and repulg the pins on Arduino board，the erm will work as the given waveform.
