Hello,

We just  consider  to use AFE chip  VSP01M01 or VSP01M02 in our specialized digital camera. But this application need one important mode -it's CCD pixel binning mode.

Does these chips have capability to  generate timing diagram for such mode?

Regards, Vlad.

    Hello Vladyslav,

THe timing generator is very flexible and general the answer is yes. To determine if it is possible for a specific case, one needs to examine the timing diagram supplied by the CCD sensor data sheet for the pixel binning mode. Match the required vertical drivers from the AFE to the CCD and in terms of type (three level to three level, two level to two level, if needed a three level can be used as a two level driver). Then program the timing gnerator appropriately.

    Regards,
