Dear TI developers,

Is it possible to add data compression feature in subsequent AFE58xx devices? It will significantly reduce the difficulty to get AFE data in FPGA.

Since in front-end data is band-limited, it is practical to reduce data rate by using delta modulation and etc. A half line rate will loose FPGA timing constraints a lot. And recovering from delta compress is very easy.

    We do have Demodulation/Decimation in some of our ADCs and AFEs, but some of these will reduce the output data rate and some will not. For instance, the ADS5294 will reduce the rate, but the ADS52J90 will not.
