Hi,

Let me ask you a question about "Overload" signal of AFE5816.

There is a description about overload signal on the section "9.3.2.4.1". (datasheet p34)

How much signal level do you intend about overload signal?

I suppose it is 1Vpp from "VMAX" sepcification. (p11)

Is my understanding correct?

And could you tell me the difference between "INP_SOURCE node(1Vpp)" and "INPx node(0.4Vpp)"? (p11)

I think INPx shoud be also same as "INP_SOURCE" value 1Vpp...

Hello Takumi-san,

Yes. the max linear input at lowest gain is 1Vpp. When the signal is overloaded, we recommend the customer to follow the guidelines outlined section 9.3.2.4.1 of the datasheet.
