Hi Everyone. I have a few questions regarding the AFE series ADCs. My application isn't exactly medical ultrasound, however it is close. I'm using ultrasonic transducers to do time of flight measurements. I'm in the relatively low frequency range (40 Khz ish). I'm using Piezoelectric...

I am Masatoshi Nakashima. I am working in a ultrasound project, and beginner. Ultrasound Demo v3.0 have C6472EVM. I would like to know how to connect a real transducer to C6472 EVM. AFE58xx and a Pulser like RX734 will be connected to C6472. But, I can't understand how to connect them. ...

AFE58XX's LVDS data can convert USB by TSW1250EVM. Is there any resource or example that connect DSP's EMIF. Thank you.

I have to design an ultrasound transmit pulser for my BSc Thesis. I've choosen LM96551 pulser, but I have a problem with connecting two supply voltages: VPF and VNF. In datasheet we can see a block diagram, where these inputs are connecting form VPP(VNN) by capacitors, but, in my opinion, it will...

Hi Grzegorz, The supply voltages VPF and VNF are floating supplies reference to VPP and VNN, respectively. The capacitors are used for bypassing. Regards, Charles

Thank you for answer, but could you tell me what value of capacitor will be the most optimized, because I don't know how to select it? Besides, 0.6A for 100% duty cycle or 2A for 2%, is for all 8 channels simultaneously, I think. But if I wanted to use only one channel, could I use maximum current...
