I am in the prototyping stage useing the TMP006. I have two questions:

1. Do you sell a development board with the TMP006 mounted on it using your recommended layout?

2. Using a magnifier, I cannot find a marker on the chip to enable me to determine its orientation. I did not find any references in the data sheets to a marker. Assuming that I will be able to come up with a way to mount the chip, is there a way of determining its orientation?

    Hello Travis,

    1. We do sell an evaluation module for the TMP006 which uses the recommended layout. It can be purchased here: http://www.ti.com/tool/tmp006evm&DCMP=hpa-tmp-tmp006&HQS=EVM+PR+tmp006evm-pr
    2. If you look at the device under a microscope, you can see the marking including a pin 1 indicator (actually pin A1 in this case). I've posted a photo below for your reference. If you can not see the marking, adjust the viewing angle and it should come into view.

    Thank you for your quick response. You did answere my questions quite adequately. I will evaluate the other simpler TI temperature sensors for my project before going with the more difficult TMP006 thermopile sensor.
