Hello,

There is the +/-3°C as caluculate maximum object temperature In the TMP006 datasheet at one of the condition.
Could you please let me know the value of "calculate object temperature" when we use TMP006 at the following conditions?

Ta=0°C~45°C
FOV:0°
Distance: 1mm(distance between TMP006 and object is lenz only)

Hi Ryuji,

You will expect the similar +/-3 degrees Celcius.

I understood.
I think that TMP006 is not able to used as clinical thermometer.

Are there any temperature sensor for clinical thermometer in TI ?

Hi Ryuji,

Please have a look at TMP112...it is specifed at +/-0.5C over the range 0C to 65C. For applications that use a smaller temperature range there is information in the data sheet that allows a user to determine maximum and minimum guaranteed temperature error using a single point of calibration at room temperature.

Please refer to pages 16, 17 and 18 of the TMP112 datasheet for more information on this technique and examples.
