LMP91000 configuration failed.

Hi,

I have found an issue with LMP91000 configuration. When I configured LMP91000 it went through well. But second time (when already my LMP91000 is configured), when I configured, it fails.

I am unable to read the status register. Can you please let me know if I need to do anything before reading the status register?

Hi GD,

I am hoping this is the correct place. When I search for this part number I don't find any related posts in this forum. But when I use an internal tool for device support it lists this forum as the correct location. If you are in a hurry for an answer, I would recommend trying Precision Data Converters forum as well.

Hi Gangadhar,

what do you mean for "I'm unable to read the status register" ? Do you receive a NACK or any other I2C error flag ? Or do you read "0" ?

The status register is updated at power up of the device and its value is set at "1" if the power on has gone well.

Are you sure that between the first configuration and the second configuration the voltage supply was always in the operating range ?

Moreover are you handling the MENB pin ? It needs to stay low during the I2C communication.
