TMP75B case

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP75B, TMP102, TMP112, TMP100-EP, TMP122-EP

Hi,

The TMP75B is a recent temperature sensor, but the only available case is SOIC-8.

Do you plan to propose other case for the TMP75B in the future?

Regards,

Yann

  • Yann,

What size package are you looking for?

We have a wide variety of temp sensors available in a wide variety of packages options.  If you want smaller than the SOIC with similar performance please look at the TMP102.  If you want better performance and smaller, please look at the TMP112.

  • Hello Dan,

    Thank your for your answer.

My first aim was to change an old LM75 on an existent board by a compatible pin to pin chip like the TMP75B/C. But the actual footprint is a VSSOP case.

May be we will redesign the board if we don't found a compatible solution.

Actually we need a very low consumption temperature sensor and a range between -55°C and +85°C.

I have looked for the TMP112 but we have no information on the temperature accuracy below -40°C. We need to have a good accuracy till -55°C. Will be possible to have some information about this point?

    Regards,

    Yann

  • Hello Yann,

Would the TMP122-EP or TMP100-EP (package type SOT-23) work in your application?  The Temp range is -55 to 125.

  • Yann,

We'll have a VSSOP option on the TMP75B/C available in a couple of weeks.

    Thanks for your interest.

  • Hello,

    Sorry for the late answer.

Thank you at all for your answers and suggestions.

Vasco, I am glad to learn the availablity of the TMP75B/C in a VSSOP case. I keep in mind this great opportunity.
