Input Impedance of TSC2046 AUX Pin

A customer I am assisting is interested in using the AUX pin on the TSC2046 to assist with other system measurements but the input impedance of this pin is critically important in his consideration.   From what I see in the data sheet it is not sufficiently illuminated.  The switch resistance of the internal mux is stated for the screen inputs and it’s implied by the schematic on page 10 that this would also apply to the AUX pin.  The remainder of the input impedance is not stated though. I’m hoping you can assist in determining what the total input impedance of the AUX pin is.

    Hello,

As I remember, the AUX pin input impedance is >20Mohms. The accurate value needs to be double checked with the design/test group, which will get back to you as soon as we can!

    Thanks,
    Wendy F.

    Hello,

Just to update you the status -- The design group is still working on finding the accurate ohms. Because it is a 10 year old design and they have to dig into the old data piles now! Sorry for this delay!

    Regards,
    Wendy F.
