TAS1020B: USB-MODEVM Interface

Part Number: TAS1020B

Hi,

I use a 4 wire touch panel with a TSC2017EVM and USB-MODEVM Interface to communicate with a PC. I use the TSC2017 driver. For my device I need to read at each time the x and y data, coordinates. But the driver shows at each time in the graphic form of the touch coordinates, and it saves to a data file(log data), but I can only access to the data file at the end of data logging not at each time. Do you know how I can read this data at any time I need?

Thanks,

Leila

  • Hi Leila,

TAS1020B performs the communication between the PC and TSC2017EVM. You should review how TAS1020B makes the communication in real time.

    Hi José,

The real time communication is possible with USB-MODEVM Interface and TSC2017 driver?

Do you have the VI model of TSC2017EVM for LabView?

    Thanks,

    Leila

    Hi Leila,

I'm not sure that the real-time communication is possible. I'm attaching the reference firmware, you can review it in order to find a possible way to make the real-time communication.
No, I don't have. We don't have the VI model.

    Thanks José,

I need io430.h to run the firmware, it's not included. Could the firmware be run with USB-MODEVM Interface?

    Best Regards,

    Leila

  • In reply to HardWareAsk:

    Hi Leila,

Yes, It should be able to run it. The communication between EVM and PC is performed with USB-interface.
