TSC2007EVM National Instrument driver problem with Win7

I am trying to install the software TSC2007 EVM-PDK for the TSC2007EVM board which plugs into the USB-MODEVM Interface board. After installing the software, there is an error that says I must run regsvr32.exe on msi.dll. I am using Win7 Pro and have tried it on 32 and 64 bit machines but it does not work. My company does not have any XP machines. Any help?

Hi Don,

Try this software instead, which is able to run in Win 7 (both 32 bit and 64 bit).

I have loaded the software. When the software starts, I get Error -1073807346 occurred at VISA open in TSC2007EVM. The given session or object reference is invalid

Hi Don,

Did you actually remove the the first software for the TSC2017EVM? I suggest you try to install the latest software in another PC, which has never installed any similar software before.

I DID remove the first software before I loaded the software you directed me to.
I loaded the software on a clean computer and got the same error.

Hi Don,

Could you contact some TI Sales or FAE and ask them to offer you a new EVM board? I have found that sometimes the firmware on the main board is not correct and then the entire EVM board will not recognized by PC. You may have to try a new EVM board instead.
