Cross for AR1100

Hi Team,

I'm looking for a cross for the AR1100. Under the parametic search, I didn't find anything that was specifically USB and/or RS-232. Do you have a recommendation for anything that can replace the AR1100?

Hi Jared,

Sorry, I think I missed this post for some reason. Basically, TI doesn't have any resistive touch controller that could replace the AR1100. All the resisitve touch controllers from TI support I2C or SPI.

Hi Jared,

It depends on the sensor type. None of TI resistive touch controllers is able to support 4, 5 and 8-wire touch screens at the same time. For 8-wire touch screens, no touch controller from TI is available. For the 5-wire screens, there is only one option, which is ADS7845. For 4-wire screens, many good options are available. I would recommend TSC2046E, TSC2003, TSC2007, TSC2006 and TSC2008.
