TSC2007 - could PENIRQ not be used

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSC2007

Hi Team,

Currently my customer has one application question as below about TSC2007:

Could the PENIRQ pin not used, and just leave floating, and MCU just use regular reading TSC2007 for touch signal I2C reading ?

Could this way work ? And any concern ?

Thanks for your help.

  • Hi Rocson

It is possible to use the device in that way, but it isn't recommended because it could generate measurement errors.
This device is designed to use the PENIRQ and get the best performance in this way.
