TSC2013-Q1: About Interrupt signal

Part Number: TSC2013-Q1

Hi all

The defaut setting of TSC2013-Q1, the device can output interrupt signal one time only.
But my customer would like to output interrupt signal many times.

So please tell me the register setting to realize interrupt signal many times.

Foe example, If we set the Control Byte1D[6:3]=1101, can this device output many interrupt signal?

Sorry, I would like to get your comment as soon as possible.

Best Regards,
Sho

  • Hi Sho,

I'm going to review this issue and will be responding soon with further information.

  • Hi Sho,

I'm a little confused because the interrupt signal depends on touching the touch panel. If you touch the panel, PINTDAV pin is set low and when you let of pushing it, PINTDAV pin is set high.
Could you provide me more details about this application?

    Hi Luis san

    Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I understand the interrupt signal depends on touching the panel.
At default setting,  I touch the panel whin application is sleep  status, teh application is power on.
However the device is not power on from sleep mode again.

My customer would like to set  register that interrupts by touch detection every time.
If you have other question, please tell me.

    Best Regards,
    Sho

    Hi Ogane-san,

Do you want that the device sends an interrupt signal each touch detection?

    Hi Luis san

    Thank you for the reply.

Yes, I want that the device sends an interrupt signal each touch detection by sleep status.

But at default setting, the device send interrupt signal one time, the interrupt signal can not be sent after the second time.

So we would like to know the register that can send an interrupt signal many times.

    Sho

  • In reply to Sho Ogane:

    Hello Ogane-san,

The device should detect each touch on the screen when you set D[6:3] = 0000 or D[6:3]=0001, as it is indicated on the datasheet.
You can refer the Device Functional Modes section in order to find more information.

    Hi Luis san

    Thank you for your support.
I understood we should set D[6:3]=0000 or 0001.

Sorry I have one more question,
I don't know how to write the  register.
Please tell me the how to set it.
Do you have the tool to write register?

    Best Regards,
    Sho

  • In reply to Sho Ogane:

    Hi Ogane-san,

This device has a GUI and EVM in order to review its behavior, but the GUI is limited and you can't write at the registers.
You can refer the Programming section of the datasheet to find further information about writing at the registers. If it is necessary I can provide you the used firmware between the PC and the EVM.

    Hi Luis san

    Thank you for the reply!

We can change register, so thank you for your support!

Sorry, I have one question about the following parameter.
    -Parameter: Switch drivers drive current
    -Test condition: 100-ms duration
    -Value: 50ms(max)

What is the value of this current value?

    Best Regards,
    Sho
