using an TSC2007 Touch-Controller under Debian

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSC2007

Hello,

I'm trying to set up the TSC2007 on a Q7 Board with Atom Processor under Linux (Debian Kernel Version 2.6.32-24) .

- The connection is established via the SMB Bus.

- the SMB-Bus is recognised as i2c-0 under /dev/

- it is possible to recognise the TSC2007 at the i2c bus and the device can be addressed manual with terminal commands

The driver for the touch controller is available in the kernel but when loading the driver module nothing is happened (no new input device, no reaction of the touch, no clocking at the SMB-bus etc.)

Can someone tell me how to get the TSC2007 to work in Linux or which modules or programs are needed.

Thanks for your help
