ADS7846: How to connect the VREF pin 9

I am using differenctial mode SER/DRF = 0

Should I connect VREF pin 9 to VCC pin 10?

if you have a schematic example will help alot

Hi Fausto,

Apologies for the delay here on your query. Please review the 'REFERENCE INPUT' section of the datasheet starting on page 9, paying particular attention to the paragraph under Figure 5 (page 10) regarding the reference in differential mode. You should connect +REF to VCC in most circumstances.

I have production on hold so I am under pressure to get this going

I just have a couple of questions:

1.- can you email me the eval board schematics for this device? (can't find it anywhere)

2.- should I disable the PENIRQ while I am reading the data from this device?

( I am affraid it does affect the readings if it is enable, my clock is only 50KHZ)

3.- Do you have any more information about pressure detection? (pen vs finger touch)
