Xueqing, Thanks for your interest in the DRV2603. The DRV2603EVM-CT includes the DRV2603 auto-resonance LRA driver, an MSP430 microcontroller, and two actuators. The EVM will work right out of the box and will allow you to demo and evaluate the driver on the bench. If you want to create custom...

Hi Brian, Thanks so much for your information. I believe the DRV2603 EVM can help with one task. Moreover, I am a postgraduate student. Ideally, we would like to develop a handheld evaluation kit with a touchscreen in order to study how users feel the different vibrations. I realise that there...

Stuart, I am sorry the binary modes are not working. I have experienced an issues with the eZ430-F2013 before and may need to remove it from the User's Guide. For now, I would recommend you switch to the MSP-EXP430G2 Launch Pad. You will need to purchase the SBW 6 pin connector from Digi-Key...

Stuart, Thank you for your feedback, it is much appreciated. A couple of comments to help you find the sections in the User's Guide I have seen the same issue while programming the EVM. Typically it is a ground related issue. If you want to connect an external actuator, please see section...

Xueqing, Sorry you are having trouble. Let me see if I can give you some guidance. You may have accidentally overwritten the code on the DRV2603EVM-CT. If so, it will need to be reprogrammed. Please download the source code from TI.com and install CCS. Setup a project with the source code and try...

Lindsay, I apologize for the inconvenience. The eZ430-F2013 no longer supports the MSP430G2553 micro-controller. We suggest switching to the MSP430 Launchpad board which is under $10. Please also order the J4 header mentioned in the DRV2603EVM-CT User's Guide. Let me know if you have any questions...
