Linux/BQ33100: bq33100 and supercap verification and testing

Part Number: BQ33100

Tool/software: Linux

HI

About bq33100 Super Capacitor Manager

1. I would like to know, what will bq33100 do to supercap on system booting up?(ex:charge or discharge or both two or anyother)
2. I use supercap(A) and (b) in the same system, and supercap(A) battery status is fail, change to supercap(B) battery status is optimal,
and then use supercap(A) again, battery status restore to optimal. I would like to know, what is the rule of judgement?

thanks

Iven

  • Hi Iven,

I am sorry but i do not understand what you mean by what happens on boot up. The bq33100 is not a charger, it is a gauge means to monitor the SOC of the supercaps.

Can you also clarify a bit more on your point number 2?

    Thanks

    Miguel
