Part Number: BQ25713EVM-017

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

I am using EV2400 to program BQ25713-EVM for getting 19.2V output and also following the steps in the BQ25713-EVM user guide. All driver installations are done properly according to the user guide. I connected BQ25713-EVM  through EVM2400 then connected EV2400 to the computer. Computer and battery management studio v1.3.54.1 are detected it but I can not find BQ25713-EVM in the listed target board as seen in Figure.  Additionally, the studio tells " Auto Detected Device: None". Please help me to figure out the problem.

Thanks.

  • Please download the BQSTUDIOTEST v1.3.86.3 on the BQStudio landing page. That will be the latest build of BQStudio.

Thanks, Joel. I installed the latest version of BQStudio and found BQ25713 charger. I connected EV2400 to BQ25713 but I got "Device ACK Error". I think EV2400 does not recognize the BQ25713-evm. Do you know what is the reason of this error? Could you help me how I can solve this problem? I have attached photos about connections and screenshot.

    Thanks.

  • In reply to Ufuk MUNCUK:

    Hey Ufuk,

Please use the I2C connection on Port 2 of the EV2400 instead of the SMBus on Port 1. The BQ25713 is an I2C device.
