Part Number: TPS2660
On TPS26600, the datasheet only mentioned about overvoltage and reverse voltage protection at the input. Since there are back-to-back MOSFETs, can it also protect against overvoltage and reverse voltage at the output?

I have looked into TPS2662, but the max current is only 800mA. May I know when is the release date for this part?
I am planning to use something similar to TPS2662 for 5V 2A user power supply, which required overvoltage, reverse voltage and also overcurrent/short protection. Appreciate your suggestion.

For output reverse polarity protection >800mA, TPS2660 can be used with external protection.
Please refer to the attached presentation capturing the output reverse polarity protection using TPS2660 at 2A.
