TPS560430: Quick question on tON tOFF spec.

I saw in datasheet the tON_MAX is 7.5us. under which condition will tON_MAX approach 7.5us.

Also the tON_MIN and tOFF_MIN spec are 2.1MHZ and 1.1MHZ device has the same spec ?

Hi PYTai,

tON_MAX approach 7.5us for conditions : VIN = 4 V to 36 V.
Yes, the tON_MIN and tOFF_MIN spec are 2.1MHZ and 1.1MHZ device has the same spec .

Sorry did not make it clear to my question.

If tON = 7.5us the switching frequency may not be kept at 1.1MHz or 2.1MHz. Under which condition will tON approach 7.5us? thanks!

Hi PYTai,

Firstly, if IC hits toffmin, the switching frequency will become low enough to support the Vo and ton will become larger.
Secondly, if Ton hits tonmax, Vo will drop. So tONmax = 7.5us does nothing with the switching frequency 1.1MHz or 2.1MHz.
