LM5113: LMG1205 vs LM5113-Q1

Hi,
we are looking for a replacement for LM5113 that is NRND.
There is a LM5113-Q1 that from the datasheet looks almost identical as LM5113, has the same footprint
and pinout and it is active (not NRND).
What are the reasons that TI suggests LMG1205 as eplacement of LM5113, instead of LM5113-Q1 ?

Hi Don,
the thread seems to relate to some bug in LM5113, the question is if the same bug is in LM5113-Q1 ?
If not then LM5113-Q1 would seem to be a closer-relative replacement unless there is sth else that speaks nevertheless for LMG1205 ?

Hi Pawel,

Yes, this bug also exists in LM5113-Q1. It was fixed in LMG1205, that's why we prefer customers switch to it if possible.

Hi Pawel,

do you require Q1 half bridge driver?
what is your application?
1205 has improved performance - however similar performance can be achieved with 5113-Q1 if simple workarounds for the bugs are implemented with some external components and applying VDD before VIN. let me know if this is something your interested in going over.
