Part Number: TPS62561
TPS62560 comes in a both 6pin and a 5 pin package. The 6 pin has a MODE pin which selects forced PWM mode or auto select PFM for light loads.
The 5 pin package does not have a MODE pin. I cannot find anywhere in the data sheet where it says whether the 5 pin package is always PWM or auto selects PFM.
Have i missed it or can you please tell me how it works ?

The 5pin device works only in fixed PWM as stated at section 5 "Device Comparison Table", page 4 of the datasheet.
