Hello guys,

One of our customers is considering using LM5005 for their new products. They want to simulate lm5005 by WEBENCH or other any way (TINA-TI or other). Their conditions are Vin=24V, Vout=-16V, Iout=0.5A.

Can lm5005 be simulated with Vin=24V, Vout=-16V, Iout=0.5A by WEBENCH? If it can not be simulated by WEBENCH, could you please tell me how to select external parts and simulate it with the external parts?

Hello,

The LM5005 does not support inverting configuration in Webench or TINA-TI. You can use the Webench model for simulating a standard buck configuration.

I would recommend using this applications note for designing an inverting configuration with the LM5005:
