LM5175: How to decide FMOD Frequency

Hi Team,

 The customer is considering to use Dither.
 The datasheet is mentions the relational expression of the capacitance value and Fmod.
 But it dose not find a description that could be a guideline for Fmod value.

 What percentage of oscillation frequency should be Fmod?

    Hi Nariaki,

    The LM5175 internal dithering functionality will vary the oscillator frequency by +-5%. The capacitor connected to the the dither pin sets the modulation ramp frequency. This modulation frequency is dependent on the application and how much it improves the EMI performance of the power supply. Typically the values can be around 10kHz.
