BQ76PL455A-Q1: Why is the programming serial number in the BQ76PL455ATPFCRQ1 chip unified to 0?

Part Number: BQ76PL455A-Q1

Dear team,

Why is the programming serial number in the BQ76PL455ATPFCRQ1 chip unified to 0?

In general,  it should have a numerical order, right?

What is the reason for this?

  • Hi Sherry,

Can you provide an example of what you are reading from the device? I will get back to you during the week on the expected values for this but I believe this is due to it being stored in the Factory register section.

    Best Regards,

    Taylor
  • In reply to Taylor Vogt:

    Hi Sherry,

I can confirm that since these registers are factory they are not meant to be used by customers for this purpose. Sorry for any inconvenience.

    Regards,

    Taylor
