LM5145: About High side FET and Low side FET

Hi,

Could you tell me about LM5145EVM-HD?
This evaluation board uses different kinds of Q1 and Q2.
Please tell me the reason.
Customers want to refer to the reason for designing.

    Hello Yusuke,

    Because the LM5145 has large step-down ratios , the  low-side MOSFET has a much longer conduction time, and to minimize [I2 * R] conduction losses the low-side MOSFET has a lower RDSON (4mΩ).

    The high-side MOSFET has less conduction time and conduction loss, so instead a MOSFET with lower gate charges Qg is used to turn the FET on faster and reduce switching and gate charge losses.
