TPS61158: Vout when CTRL is low

Hi,

I have VIN at 5V and CTRL at 0V but see 4.4V at Vout. I was expecting 0V at Vout. Does this make sense? When CTRL is high (3.3V) I see ~18V at Vout which is appropriate for our application.

Hi Chris,
That normal phenomenon, because before you apply the signal to CTRL pin, the output voltage equals to Vin-VD(diode forward voltage), when you give the PWM signal to CTRL pin, boost start switching,and the output voltage increase to desired voltage.
