Generating +/- 15 V supply rails from single-ended 24 V supply

Hi,

Does TI have any solutions that are able to generate +15 and -15 V DC supplies from a single 24 V supply? I would like the +/- 15 V supplies to be able to source at least 500 mA. The part would hopefully function similarly to Linear's LTC3260 with a higher current capability.

One way is to use a fly-buck converter.
Take a look at the TI website for suggestions.

Here is another possibility, inverting buck-boost with coupled inductor. See this app note:

The current needs to be de-rated by a factor of 1-D. You may need the 3A version (TP54360 or TPS54340) to get 500 mA from each rail.
