TL494: Using TL494 as a signal input IC for a half bridge gate driver

Part Number: TL494

Hello,

We wish to produce complementary signals for the input of a half bridge gate driver using its voltage feedback loop instead of driving the switch directly. The main concern is to ensure the signals are not reversed due to presence of open collector transistor. It would be really helpful if you could explain the connection of C1, E1; C2, E2 with say HIN, LIN wrt say COM in the Half Bridge Gatedriver IC. We will be supplying 16V to Vcc for TL494 and the gatedriver we have selected can handle such voltage at HIN, LIN pins.

PS - HIN, LIN are both wrt to COM(Ground) and are PWM inputs for the gatedriver. Also, just confirming, we should use this IC in the push pull mode, right?
