TPS62175: Output Accuracy

Dear, Sir.

My customer is designing their system applying TPS62175, now.

They have one question about Output Accuracy.

It is defined on the datasheet as ±1.8% at PWM mode.

Is it included the tolerance of external resistor divider?

Please give your advice.

Hi Sakai-san,

±1.8% at PWM mode is a specification of the device which does not include the tolerance of the resistor divider. IC performances are specified in the Datasheet, the choice of side components for the system are up to the customer.

We recommend the use of +/1% accuracy resistors, you can also have a look at the following App Note regarding the choice of the resistor bridge resistors, http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slyt469/slyt469.pdf
