How do we calculate the internal power dissipation of the IC?

Dear Sir,

The IC loss mainly including internal FET's conducting loss, switching loss.

For the conduction loss, please use the formula: Pc=((IL_avg)^2+1/12*IL_pp^2)*Duty*Rlsd

For the switching loss, please use the formula:

P_tr=(IL_peak*(V_out+0.5)*Tr_sw/2)*F_sw ;

P_tf=(IL_valley*(V_out+0.5)*Tf_sw/2)*F_sw

Other loss like the drive loss is very small, it will not effect the thermal much.
