DCPA10505D: Absolute Maximum Rating of input voltage

Part Number: DCPA10505D

Hi team,

My customer considers DCPA10505D replacing from DCP010505D.

Then he provided a question.

DCPA10505D absolute maximum input voltage is 6V ( 50ns transient is 7V), its value is different with  DCP010505DP absolute maximum input voltage is 7V.

Could you provide why DCPA10505DP-U's input voltage rating degraded from previous one and different of internal circuit of these devices?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Best regards,
Shota Mago

  • Hi team,

I think investigating about DCP01050 series should be a little bit difficult due to old device.

But would it be update on this since the customer has been awaiting?

    Best regards,

    Shota Mago

  • Hi Shota,

The absolute maximum input voltage rating for the two devices differ in the controllers used internally.
The difference between DCP01 and DCPA1 series:

    • DCPA1 series of devices include a soft-start feature and the ability to synchronize to an external clock.

    Regards,
    Alejandro
