Please, answer,

1) What approximately voltage loss if: Iout = 2 - 3 mA, (Vcc = +12 V, Vout = minus 11.6 - 11.8V)?

2) There is formula for R2 on the page 13 of the datasheet. What value for Vout a need to set in this formula in order to have Vout as close as possible to minus 12 V ?

Hi Vladimir,

Thank you considering the LT1054, which is supported by our group now. The datasheet only gives the voltage loss down to 10mA. We will need to check if characterization data exist for 2~3mA load. Please allow us a few days.

Hi Vladimir,

Sorry for the delay. We checked and the characterization data of the voltage loss for 2~3mA load are not available. I consulted with our expert and the predicted voltage loss, for your reference, is about 0.25V at these load levels.

Regarding the formula for R2, it should apply to all voltage settings in the operating range.
