TPS62060: datasheet Question

Hi everybody!

I have a question about the "TPS62060" datasheet.

Q1)
The absolute maximum rating of the SW terminal is described as -0.3 V to 7 V in the datasheet of this device.
In the same document, the undershoot exceeds -1.0 V in the SW waveform in Figure 15.
Is this "Figure 15" a mistake?

Q2)Is it no problem?
(Realy observed -1.0 V in the SW waveform at my target bord)

Q3)
Does this terminal have voltage specifications by AC characteristics?
(ex: short time overshoot and undershoot)

Remarks:
The same level of voltage is observed on the substrate being evaluated by our company, so we would like to judge whether there is a problem or not.

(Realy observed -1.0 V in the SW waveform)

Hello,

the abs max are specs in DC, what you see in picture 15 at -1V is for 1 ns so no worries for the device functionality. We don't have a spec for the AC characteristic for this device.This undershoot (-1V) is due to the body diode of the low side plus the ringing associated to the turn on of the high side and the parasitics.

Hello,

The AC characteristic are dependent also on the layout and I can't guarantee specs that are not reported in the D/S. Typically at -1V for less 10ns is ok.
