BQ78Z100: firmware version on mass production

Dear TI Experts,

My customer is designing a new project based on 1100_0_05 version firmware. They want to know if BQ78Z100 will be shipped with 1100_0_05 version for future new order?

Another question is that, if new firmware version is released in future ,say,1100_0_06, will BQ78Z100 be shipped with new 1100_0_06 version without noticing them?

Is there any way that customer can receive BQ78Z100 with 1100_0_05 version firmware all the time from now on?

Hi Bruce,

Our recommendation is that your customer use the bq78z100 v0.06. This is because the new version has a few important fixes addressing some issues. All new bq78z100 will be programmed with the v0.06 by default.

Hi Bruce,

I just found out that v0.06 has not been released officially from the factory. You can find v0.05 fw here, . Please use that for the moment. The update to the fw will be posted when it's approved internally.
