BQ34110: Learning cycle repeatedly triggering [LUCD] flag

Hello,

I am currently testing the learning cycle on my BQ34110 using BQStudio. Pre-relax phase works fine and leads into the discharge phase, but then the [LUCD] flag and [LFAULT] flags will pop up. Could anyone tell me why this is happening? According to the TRM it is due to excess discharging or charging above the data flash thresholds, but our thresholds our currently at 60 and 75 mA, which the batteries should definitely not be surpassing when the learning load is disconnected. Hi Colin,

I apologize for the delay. The settings are OK. In EOS mode, you need to manually perform a learn with the battery and not exceed the learn time, it's not just the current, you also need to monitor time to correctly measure resistance in EOS mode.

Hi Batt,

I'm not quite sure what you mean or how that relates to my question. Either way I think we have fixed the problem by increasing the Discharge and Charge Detection Threshold, and Learn Discharge Current Boundary data flash parameters.
