Part Number: UC3827-1
Hi TI Team
I'd like to design a Buck Current Fed Push-Pull converter.
Is UC3827-1 the only choice?
And, do you have any Simulation & Calculation Tool or EVM circuit of UC3827-1
Hi Chun Hung,
Unfortunately TI does not have any simulation or calculation tools for many of the older PWM controllers like the UC3827-1, there is a power design seminar article which may be of some use to you,

The LM5041 is another option you could look at, it has a PSPICE model and there is an EVM available, however there is no calculator tool for this device either.
I think LM5041 is a peak current mode controller.
I prefer an average current mode of cascaded buck and push-pull converter controller.
I am afraid those are the only two options that TI has in its portfolio.
If you have any idea please feel free to tell me, thanks.
