BQ40Z50-R3-DEVICE-FW: ERETM timer accumalate

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R3-DEVICE-FW

Hi Expert,

About Elevated Charge Degradation function, there is a parameter called Accumulated ERETM Time, we know it can be counting while RelativeStateOfCharge() ≥ ERETM RSoC Threshold, and ERETM Temperature Threshold < temperature < ERETM Temperature Max Threshold. And stop counting either one condition miss match.

However, we also can see the Accumulated ERETM Time stop counting once any safety protection and Charging inhibit. Can someone check it what conditions cause timer stop?

  • Hi, Shane

So far what I can see from the code is that only if the flash write is permitted, the Accumulated ERETM Time would count if conditions are satisfied. What is the flash update time you are using for this Timer to count?

Do you have log showing once protection triggered this timer stopped counting?
