TPS92630-Q1: Open load fault detection issue

Part Number: TPS92630-Q1

Hi sir,

We're using TPS92630-Q1 to control BSD warning light on automotive (2 channels only), no matter what PWM duty (1~100%) output within Vin 9~16V, it always detect an open load fault and LEDs will blinking at specific Vin voltage, due to LED module was assigned by car manufacturer, it’s hard to change their spec, is there any solution for above issue without change hardware? Why TPS92630 still detected open load fault if I set PWM 100% output when Vin < 14V? Is it possible to use TPS92630 to do constant voltage control? Looking forward to your feedback, thank you.

Parameters:

LED module circuit connect with a diode (Vf = 0.6V), 267ohm resistor and 2 LEDs (Vf = 2.6V each) in series

Rref = 1.2kohm
